Our registration fee covers participation-related administrative processing and activities associated with the Crown journey.

Because registrations involve advance planning, screening, coordination and event arrangements, registration fees are generally non-refundable once the registration has been successfully submitted and payment has been confirmed.

3. Registration Fees Are Generally Non-Refundable

Once a participant has completed registration and the applicable registration fee has been successfully paid, the registration fee is generally non-refundable and non-transferable.

This applies even if a participant subsequently decides not to participate, is unable to attend, changes their mind or does not proceed with the remaining stages of the Crown journey.

4. Participant Cancellation

If a participant voluntarily cancels their registration after payment has been completed, the registration fee will generally not be refunded.

Registration fees are also generally not refundable if a participant:

• Changes their mind about participating.
• Becomes unavailable to attend.
• Does not attend a scheduled activity.
• Withdraws from the competition after registration.
• Fails to attend screening, grooming, training or other scheduled activities.
• Decides not to continue during the Crown journey.

5. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe that you have accidentally made a duplicate payment for the same registration, please contact us as soon as possible with the relevant transaction details.

After verifying the transaction, we may review duplicate or erroneous payments for a possible refund or appropriate resolution.

6. Failed or Unsuccessful Transactions

If your payment appears to have failed but the amount has been debited from your bank account, please allow the payment gateway and banking system reasonable time to process or reverse the transaction.

If the amount is not automatically reversed within the applicable processing period, please contact us with your transaction details.

We may request information such as the transaction reference number, payment date, amount and registered contact details to investigate the issue.

7. Event Postponement

In certain circumstances, the event date may need to be postponed due to circumstances including venue availability, administrative requirements, safety considerations, government restrictions, unforeseen circumstances or other operational reasons.

If the event is postponed, the registration may ordinarily remain valid for the rescheduled event, subject to the arrangements communicated by the organisers.

Participants will be informed of significant changes to the event schedule through the contact details provided during registration.

8. Event Cancellation by the Organisers

If the Crown of Puducherry event is cancelled by the organisers, the organisers will communicate the applicable arrangements to registered participants.

Depending on the circumstances of the cancellation, applicable obligations and operational costs, the organisers may determine whether a refund, partial refund, transfer of registration or another suitable arrangement is available.

9. Eligibility and Disqualification

Registration does not automatically guarantee participation in every stage of the event.

Participants may be required to satisfy applicable eligibility requirements, provide accurate information and follow the rules, schedules and instructions communicated by the organisers.

If a participant is found to have provided materially false information or violates applicable event rules, the organisers may take appropriate action, including withdrawal of participation.

Registration fees will generally not be refundable in circumstances involving participant disqualification or withdrawal resulting from participant conduct or failure to meet applicable requirements.

10. No Physical Product Returns

Crown of Puducherry is primarily an event and participation-based platform.

Registration does not involve the purchase of physical goods through the website. Therefore, conventional product return or exchange provisions do not generally apply to the registration service.

11. How to Request Assistance

If you believe that your payment requires review, please contact us with the following information:

• Participant name.
• Registered mobile number.
• Registered email address.
• Payment date.
• Amount paid.
• Transaction ID or payment reference number.
• Description of the issue.

12. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method or another appropriate method, depending on the circumstances and payment provider’s procedures.

The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.

We do not ask participants to share their UPI PIN, OTP, card PIN, banking password or other confidential payment credentials with us.
